2020-10-24：Fido官网上如果签约不时出现的翻新版华为、中兴平板，那么不但硬件免费，还返送$5/month credit；目前Fido的activation fee为$45

Fido目前提供$10 4GB data-only plan（纯流量），并且可以签两年合约免费/加钱拿一台平板电脑。这里总结一下来自各方的信息，以方便读者朋友获得这个plan，毕竟还是很实惠的。

PS：此Tablet Plan不参与Fido Refer-a-friend Program

Official rules:

Available on new activations and hardware upgrades.

All tablet types are eligible

Customers must have an existing voice and data line on their account but do not need to complete a transaction on their voice and data line(s) to be eligible for these new plans.

There is no limit per account. Customers can activate multiple tablet lines with these plans.

据了解，在Fido账户历史满三个月就会被视为“老用户”，作为老用户，就可以通过与客服谈心获得一些折扣。对于这个tablet plan，一般能要到100% bill credit for 1 year/50% off for 2 years的offer，YMMV

开设途径

非Fido用户（没有任何Fido服务）：方案一，去如wirelesswave/tbooth等第三方dealer碰运气直接开设；方案二，在Fido柜台同时开voice+data/tablet line，有相关从业人士称，可以之后cancel voice+data line且可获得activation fee退款。

Fido用户（有voice+data plan）：可以直接在Fido柜台开设。且可留意FidoXtra，据了解这几天Fido又随机送了一波2-yr contract，即免费用两年tablet plan+免费平板。
