关于Public Mobile $10-2计划的语言信箱【附解决方案】

之前介绍了几个Public Mobile目前提供的几个很有意思的计划。后来看到有朋友提到，如果是非无限分钟的计划，比如那个每月10-2块的，那么查收语言信箱的时间是计入分钟的。

四哈亲测，这点确实不假。只是之前没想过解决方案。看到大家这么一说，我去查了一下，所以是有这样一个办法：在其他电话上拨打自己的Public Mobile号码，然后按*，再输入密码，就可以查收了。“其他电话”可以是任意手机，也可以是Fongo/Google Hangouts

四哈查了一下【官方说明】，提取其中相关条目：

1. What does and does not use my minutes? ……Retrieving or leaving voicemail messages……

2. If I don’t have any minutes left, but I have a voicemail message, how do I check my voicemail?

 2.1 There are two ways you can check your voicemail.

  2.1.1 From a landline or another mobile phone, dial your 10-digit phone number and press the * key to interrupt the system greeting. From here, you may need enter your voicemail password.

  2.1.2 You can purchase a long distance Add-On such as the 200 minutes Add-On that allows you to call to Canada and the US for $8. Note, the minutes in the Add-On will rollover to your next billing cycle.

所以官方原意应当为，“从此号码上查voicemail，通话时间会计入分钟”。而从其他号码拨打此计划号码查voicemail，不会计分钟，因为“分钟数用尽后仍可以用这种方法查”。四哈之前专门做过一次实验，貌似没有被扣去分钟。如果有网友有其他实测结果，也欢迎反馈。

不过我们还提一种解决方法——不让打来的人留Voicemail。进入语言信箱系统，进入Greetings (3)，进入"Extended Absence Greeting" (4)，录一段话比如“This is XXX. This number does not receive voicemail. Please send me text message instead”，选择(4)启用这个Extended Absence Greeting，再选择(5)不允许访客留语音信箱。
